Fundraiser (Voluntary)

Echoes Charity is a registered mental health charity providing free workshops and groups. These are written and facilitated by qualified and registered counsellors and psychotherapists for people across England and Wales. We are looking for a volunteer fundraiser to help support and develop this work.

Ideally, you will have a successful track record in corporate fundraising and partnerships. Broader experience across different types of fundraising would also be useful. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of the charity while making a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

The role of fundraiser will include:

• Working with other volunteers and the wider team to develop a fundraising strategy.
• Identifying and applying for suitable funding opportunities.
• Helping to build relationships with shops, businesses and other organisations to secure sponsorship, match funding, donations and raffle prizes.
• Contributing around 25 to 45 days per year where possible, although the role can be flexible around the time you are able to give.

The role is unpaid, but normal and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed where needed.
